To [23F8X]:
I feel like I should say that you're a man not a number, but that's a bit obscure, isn't it? I can't remember if The Prisoner was run on other stations. Also, not entirely sure what pronouns you like. I ended up with "Ace" in the system, which is a bit less awkward.
My name's Yvette, and she works just fine for me. I'm a political activist. They're claiming my activism is out of hand, and engaging in a bit of blackmail. They said I'm to send you some conclusions about some code breaking they asked me to try.
Well, I'm originally from Lorena. You know how different the computer standards are like.
So - what of these files should I send your way?

Date: 2016-05-24 12:11 am (UTC)I've had a number of handles, depending on the work, but Shaun's what my parents and my friends go with and I suppose we're heading toward something like that, at least on the trading things to keep each other decently safe goes.
I work for an organization that's...it's all rather complex but bringing down Abstergo is at the height of it. The rest is better said in person. It's a little much to do in print. They're not good people and we're trying to stop them from m.aking the world worse, as dramatic as it sounds. Occasionally, they even let me out of my IT and database updating cage to do some work in the field myself.
And London, Victoria, myself. QUITE different from what I know you've got to get up to on Lorena. At the moment, I think I'd quite like to see what's gone on with the safety records. And what would you like?
To [Q]:
Date: 2016-05-24 12:18 am (UTC)A? Antiquarian?
Well, it looks like they wanted some transmissions of the door codes. It's a similar system to the one used on Lorena. Fairly easy to puzzle through. So, considering the data streams we're dealing with, would you like to check the ones I marked as dubious and we could see if it's "safe" to send on the codes for those doors?
Because seriously, blackmail doesn't make me like people much.
Did you know you're the second person I've heard of who hates Abstergo? Last one was worried about Abstergo's ties to yavanite sales out of Lorena station more than the NuFlor milk scandal though.
How's your skills with unknown drugs? I've got some odd results here but not a "so what'd the idiot take" answer.

Date: 2016-05-24 12:45 am (UTC)A... ironically, that's appropriate as anything because of other reasons. I think that would work well enough.
Blackmail wouldn't be something I wanted to tolerate either. And am I? Smart other person, that's for sure.
I...can double check to see if it's got components they've lately been working with, It's usually documented SOMEWHERE before it gets redacted.

Date: 2016-05-24 12:58 am (UTC)So, as best I can tell, this is a small station, originally built by the Lorena Corporation, bought out by some other group. Has a medical lab, some kind of server farm. Lab sends out data in a surprising amount of plain text.
They wanted the door codes, to see if there was smuggling going on.
Tossed all that your way.
The blood work data I'm sending you is from something else. Mostly curious what you say about it.
Re: To A:
Date: 2016-05-24 01:25 am (UTC)That all sounds incredibly useful, if a little odd that it'd come out so fast.
I'll take a look. Blood work could prove really helpful to prove a couple theories too.
Re: To A:
Date: 2016-05-24 02:02 am (UTC)I'm guessing they're curious too how well we work together. I'm supposed to report on your teamwork.
I've got some folks on my end. I'm guessing you do as well? You're not alone, are you?
Re: To A:
Date: 2016-05-24 02:13 am (UTC)I do. Couple of them now. Not my supervisor, who I'm currently avoiding but everyone else.
